Road Cycling (Commute to work and home) 3:27:00 [3]52.0 mi (3:58 / mi)
shoes: Apollo winter bike
Legs feel empty today.
Put an aerobar on my winter bike along with an extra bar for lights - looks a bit like the starship enterprise now.
Bar is not secure enough - will go back to having a front light on the aerobar instead.

Tuesday Oct 30

Note
Gill's birthday, so cancelled the morning session to open cards and presents as a family.....nice.
Sun is shining today...gorgeous autumnal day.

Run to track from home - turned ankle running on grass verge.
Warm-up and drills
33 min Paarlauf with Gill - 2 lap. Thighs felt tight and stiff, but loosened up towrads end - can tell that running action is changing through cycling.
Warm down.

Monday Oct 29

Road Cycling (Commute to work) 1:35:00 [3]26.0 mi (3:38 / mi)
shoes: Apollo winter bike
Foggy, damp start to the day, but at least it wasn't raining.
Cleared up nicely, and a very cool mist was hanging over Hyde Park as I cycled through.
Had a bit of a manic sprint through the tunnel along the embankment....got a bit carried away racing another commuter....how childish!!.....but great fun!
Road Cycling (Commute home) 1:28:00 [3]26.0 mi (3:22 / mi)
shoes: Apollo winter bike
Loved it - had a great ride home...for a change. Felt full of energy and motivated to push it hard.
Bought some plug-in bar-end lights and also a small white LED for the front of my helmet. Amazing how a couple of flashing lights can motivate you.
