Orienteering race 1:42:07 [4] **** 5.5 mi (18:34 / mi) +240m 16:21 / mi
spiked:9/12c

Red course, club champs at Moreau Lake state park. Not as scary/difficult as I thought, who knew Glen had a soft side after seeing those National Championship courses? First loop was on the lower (older) part of the map, second loop was on the slope up to the plateau (newer part). The second loop was alot of fun, very detailed terrain and map. You had to pay attention or you wound up doing 50m of bonus climb. Found 'em all, but messed up pretty good on 8 with some kind of parallel error on the indistinct trails.

Won awards! Apple loaf for helping pick up controls (45 minutes of bonus orienteering), a picture of Moreau from the US Champs stating I was a class champion (I had the most class, of course), and I found the compass I dropped. I guess I'm easily amused by non-award awards.
