Hanging out controles in Statsskogen for a school assignment. Just jogging, tired today.

Went to Gåvsta to try some "new" paths for mountainbiking. Found a good area which I know is mapped, so I might make a mtbo map there later. Legs felt kind of sore today so it was nice to do an easy training.

MTBO race in Uppsala. Did a pretty good race and ended up in second place after Markus Martinelle. . I think some off the other guys went through the forest to nr 9 (which wasn't allowed) since I'm loosing almost a minute to that controle. Also lost a lot of time to controle nr 21, because I'd folded away that part of the map.

Thought about skipping training today since I was tired off all the traveling (got up at 4,30 to get to the airport in Milano) but felt weak for thinking so and forced myself to a easy mtb session. Once I was out my body felt really good.

Cycling - MTB (Orienteering) 1:00:28 [3]

Open race after the world cup relay since we didn't have a team. Point-O. You got 1h to get as many controles as possible. Got all of the controles in 1h and 28sec. Since I didn't have watch, I was quite pleased with that. Got 5th place in the senior men category. Tracks where a lot better today and the weather was great! 25C and sunny.

Got a good idea about what to expect from next years world champs. The terrain is fucking hilly!! Way to hilly for me, so if I want to do well next year I need to train somewhere else then in Uppsala...

Cycling - MTB race (Orienteering) 45:41 [4] 7.0 km (9.2 kph)

MTBO World Cup in Teolo, Italy. Managed to get 35th place with a bad race! Just 5 min from top 10, with about 5min of mistakes. Felt surreal to actually be that close to the top since I wasn't happy at all with my race (counted my mistakes to about 5 min after finishing). Maybe there's hope for me in mtbo?

Shitty conditions for mtbo though. It was raining which made the terrain (vineyards) extremely muddy.

O-race in Tierp, north of Uppsala. The course was pretty easy and the terrain open with good runability, the controles where well hidden though. Made a couple of smaller mistakes today, a bit more then a minute in total. Running didn't feel all that good, I need to run more. I've been doing to much mountainbiking lately.

Introduction to track & field at my University class for this semester. We learned diffrent types of running drills. Got into a discussion with my teacher about heel stride which she thought was the best way to run when running longer distances. So I was telling her that it's not. Got some help from one off my classmates, who's into parkour, as well.

Funny that I know more about the subject then my teacher....
