10mila, first leg. Started way back and the start was quite chaotic and I'd problems with passing people. Terrain didn't open up until halfway to the forst controle. Got that one alright but fucked up going to the second. Went to far to the right and got to my third before I got to my second. They where only abot 100m apart so it wasn't a big mistake though.

At this point was quite clear that something wasn't right with my body tho. It didn't respond well at all and I was struggling to keep the pace I wanted. Luckily everyone around me didn't know how to orienteer so I didn't have any problems keeping up with the guys since they where stopping all the time and keept running in the wrong the direction. Came to the finish as team nr 155-165 something. I've lost it all because I couldn'trun fast at all.

I belive the problem is pollen. I had probelm with it last year and it seems like I have the visit the pharmacy next week to get some med for it.

Just checked some old results from 10mila and jukola.

I've done pretty solid results in the last couple of years:
2007 - 18th on leg 4 (8km)
2008 - 59th on leg 3 (8km)
2009 - 39th on leg 5 (8km)
2010 - was sick at 10mila but was 81th on the 3rd leg at Jukola (the long night)

I'm running the first tomorrow at this years 10mila. Gonna be interesting since it's been a while since I ran the first leg.

My plan was to do an interval session (6x4min). But I changed my mind and went for an "easy" at this technical trail close to my home. I feel like I need to get better flow on the more technical stuff. And at the same time I need to do more intervals as well.

Gonna try to do two trainings tomorrow. I'm hoping school won't get in my way.

Uppsala Möte middle distance. Started quite bad. I made a 1,5min mistake going to 2nd and the ran just passed the controle going to 3rd and lost another 45 sek there. After that I had a pretty good flow for a while before losing more time going to number seven on a bad route choice and to number eight i was standing at the right spot but couldn't see the controle. Lost about 1,5min on those two. Overall about 3-4min mistake and way to far behind. Got something like 10th place.

Easy spinn on the bike. Took it really easy since I'm racing tonight.

Masstart night race. Started of fast and took the lead right a way. Ended up making a 1min mistake to nr1 tho and lost it. Went with the pack for the next two controles and then broke of on the longer leg to nr 4. I was doing good just until the very end of the leg where I got confused by a wet area (wasn't marked as a marsh on the map) and made a 3-4min mistake. Tried do pull it together but ended up making an even bigger mistake going to nr 8. From there on it was just training for me. Tried to find the flow, running fast and orienteer good in the technical terrain was hard.

I know now that I need to slow down a lot more going in to the controles, since that's where I'm making the mistakes.

Ended up 5th or 6th about 6min after the winner. Could probably go 10min faster (if not more) with a clean race....

Went out on the forest to check some possible controle points for Roslagshelg. Together with David, Tommy and Tobbe. Good flow in the orienteering and legs felt great.

Got home at 1pm and was surprised to find out that all of the snow was gone (it was still 30-40cm when I went to Denmark 2 weeks ago). Decided to go for a easy long ride in the forest

Long distance race, masstart. I took it quite easy in the beginning, I really didn't want to stress and do stupid mistakes. I did do a couple of small mistakes, but so the a lot of the other guys so it didn't matter that much. Did my first big mistake going to number 24. An easy controle really, but I got confused by some of the smaller houses and thought that I'd missed the track I was going to take. Started going back before I realised that I was in the right place to start with. Probably lost atleast a minute there.

I also lost some time in the town by controle 26, and more importantly got passed by a couple of guys when making that mistake. Pushed hard on the road and up the hill to 27th and managed to caught up with them. But I lost a lot of power doing that and couldn't really keep up the good pace up the hill to 31. Going out from that controle I realised that I had a lot of guys just behind me. Took it easy to 32nd so that I wouldn't miss. Going down the hill from 32 (with maybe 800m to go) I hit a stone quite hard and got a flat tire!! Had to run the last 2 controles and got passed by a group of 4 riders.

Ended up in 38th place and missed world cup points because of that flat tire. Gonna change tires til the next race...

MTBO World Cup middle. Orienteering went much better today, I was always one step ahead and took, for the most part, the better route choice. Then to number 12 I got a flat tire in an area with some waste and had to walk home.

Yesterday the organizers told us that there would be some waste in the forest but "no logical route choice will go there". Fucking bullshit, the fastest route was straight through the area with the waste (and not just on one leg, but on two different leg).

World Cup sprint in MTBO here in Tapolca, Hungary. Made a massive mistake to number 4. Got the wrong controle and didn't realise it until I was on my way to number 10. So I had to go back to take the controle. Lossed 5,30 on that controle alone. I wasn't very motivated after that...

Easy mountainbiking in St Englmar, Germany. After a tip from a guy at a bank in a nearby town we went up in the mountains to find this awesome small town. The area had a lot of great single track and nice scenic climbs.

Middle distance race. Did an okey start but then managed destroy every chance for a good race at this one controle (4min mistake there). Not very motivated after that.

Camp special. Take as many controles as possible in 1,5h. Missed 5 controles and got 18th place.

Route choice training in very sandy terrain.

Long distance race. Legs felt pretty good today and was orienteering really well exept for one controle. Managed to take the wrong path at one place and since you're not allowed to cut through the forest I had to do a quite big detour to get to the controle. Lost 3 min there.

Joined up with my motherclub for the testrun of the courses for Lännasprinten. Did the men elite course. The course was good but all the snow does kind of destroy the joy of orienteering. There's still 30-40 cm of snow at some places. There's also some places without snow, which makes the orienteering kind of hard since you don't really know what to expect.

Hopefully some warm weather will make the conditions a little bit better for the runners (the race is this saturday) but I still think the winner time will be kind of slow because of the snow.
