Note

New year, and for me, the opportunity to try something new. I've been running orienteering since I was a kid. That later got me into MTB-Orienteering and the national team.

After 10 years of racing MTBO, I feel that I've run out of motivation. I've gotten some good results that I'm happy with (World champs silver and 17 medals at national championships) and I wanna try something new.

So, for the year 2020 I'll see what I can accomplish in the sport of triathlon. I'll race some Xterras and 70.3 with the main goal being national championships at the half distance. I have no illusions on a good placing there. I'm racing it more out of curiosity. I wanna see where I'll be with 6months of TRI focused training.

Long term goal is more racing at the half distance and later on a step up to racing Ironmans.
