Saturday May 31

Orienteering race 19:34 [4]*** 3.2 km (6:07 / km)

Uppland sprint-DM. Was test running the M21 course before the comp. Unfortunetly one of the controls wasn't working so I lost about 1 min there. I had to run back and replace that control directly after finishing. My race was otherwise quite good but I was to tired to run fast becuse of yesterdays running comp.

Karnevalsloppet, Avesta. I started quite fast and after the first 3 km I was still running as fast as I wanted (My aim to get under 28min). But after that I started to get some problems with blister which made me slow down. I passed the 6K mark on 21,50. Very tired and with blisters and chafe on a couple of places on my body I finished as the 13th runner..

Thursday May 29

Rånäs OK Sprint Cup. 50% forest and 50% park. The course started in the forest. I was running fast in the beginning, to fast, and I made a mistake on the first control (about 20sec). I was taking it easier after that mistake and I started to understand the map better. The part of the course that was in the park was quite easy and I didn't do any more mistakes. But I guess that some of my routechoises wasn't always the fastest (but the easiest). Won the race with about 30 sec.

Orienteering at the map roslagskrossen with Davisd, Joel and Glenn. Great terrain , but the map was i bit old (18 years). I was feeling light today. But I was feeling a pain in my right leg, which I think is shin splints. I'm going to take it easy with the running for some days and hope that it will pass.
