Since I haven't been running much comps this year my ranking sucks.... So at 25-mannakorten (middle distance event after 25-manna) my ranking wasn't good enough for the elite class. Instead, I was running regular H21.
The day started great. I got early to the comp, and since it was raining I decided to stay in the car for a bit, listening to music and waiting for the rain to pass. Obviously I fell asleep and woke up about an hour later. It was still lots of time before my starttime (1h) when I went over to the competition center. When I started to change to go to the start I realised that I forgot my shoes in th car. After getting them I didn't have much time at all.
I got to the start the same minute as my starttime, quite stressed.
The race wasn't great, I wasn't concentrating enough on the orienteering I was just running. After a couple of smaller mistakes I made a big one to nr 9. I'm guessing that I lost about 2 min on that one.
Anyway, about 4-5 min of mistakes totally.

Intervals with ski-poles in one of the marshes in Uppsala. 2x15min. Good training with focus on the upper body. Training for the ski season has started!
