Orienteering race 46:35 [4] 7.5 km (6:13 / km)

O-ringen 2-days stage 2. Chasing start. Did asolid race with only one real mistake. Took the wrong route choice to 7th (our 2nd long leg) and lost about 1,5min on that. Managed to move up to 8th from 16th. Lost the 7th spot at the sprint finish.

Warm up for the race. Also I managed to fix the race bike this afternoon. Thinking of racing the sprint course again tomorrow to see how fast I can go.

Sprint in halmstad at o-ringen. Raced on the 29er as I hadn't had time to fix the race bike. By far the fastest on th course today but managed to misspunch. The control ring covered a path which made me missread the map. Gonna try to upload the course later to show what I did.

Cycling - MTB race 2:39:00 [4]
shoes: Diadora Elite

Yesterday didn't go that well, got 4th, but with lots of mistakes. Also my body didn't respond well at all. Found the reason today: my astma meds was empty. Managed to get some new for today and that boosted my confident before the race a bit. The race started well for me, caught the guy that started 1 min ahead of me already by the first control. Took a good rote choice to 2nd and pushed hard. To 3rd I webt back the same way I came from. Then back again to 4th. On my eay back up the hill I saw the guys startong behind me and realised I had a solid lead. My body responded well and I had a good flow. Looking back at the race now I know that by 13th I had a massive lead over my main competitors for the overall. Then at 14th my dropout and rear deraillur broke and I had to run. Was running the rest of the course (39min) but realised that realised that I had forgot to punch the control where it happend!! My time at the finish would have been good enough fo the 3rd or 4th place today (with 39 min of running with the bike!!).
