started well, the first section was quite simple and was pretty smooth through the controls, maybe lost about 1min on missing best route and hesitation. got a big thorn in my foot so had to stop just after spectator, had ran with it for about 2k but it got too much, that lost me another minute.
the course then went into the really technical bit and i was reasonably clean though made a couple of stupid mistakes, when i got tired near the end.

dissapointed with 10th, my run wasnt clean enough

training on the model area. actually quite an easy area, quite green in places but not too technical.

10min jog warm up

30min orienteering building up to nea rrace pace.
orienteering race 16:12 [5]2.62 km (6:11 / km)

sprint

started in some fields and rough open on the slopes above the town of nant. had 1.8 on the slopes then we ran across a bridge into the town and also changed map to run another 800m through the alleys of the town.
was too hesitant on some early controls and missed the best route choice on no. 7.

finished 16th. abit dissapointed with result and run.

john 17th

got some good sunbathing in aswell.

Thursday Oct 11

Junior European Cup, Nant, France

went for an easy team jog around the town just to loosen up after a long day of travelling.
a really nice little town with some winding alleys that we would race on tomorow.

Wednesday Oct 10

ran out to Kings Buildings at 7.10am to run a sprint course.

warm up: 9min run out there and stretch

course: 14.13 - ran pretty smooth

warm down13min- warm down run and stretch.

would have done another course but i pulled my calf muscle abit so thought it best to stop, cos im leaving for jec tomorow.woop woop

Monday Oct 8

jog with coombs and james, dalkeith road-pollock roundabout-huntersbog- holyrood fields -back along road.

also did 5 x ~10sec sprints. think it was about 100m...;)

felt pretty tight so had a good stretch when i got back to the flat.

Sunday Oct 7

Running (football) 1:20 [4]
tom winsor and some other mates had a team in a sunday league, they were short of players so asked me to play.
our team was missing some good guys so we were shit. lost 6-0

good run about tho, lots of sprinting

just left it as running cos i dont know if what i did could be described as playing football....:)
