| Original Mountain Marathon
Lowther Hills B class Me and John Rocke ran the B class this year after winning C last year in Galloway. main competition on the class was James and Coombs and Joe Mercer and Matt Franklin, also James williams and his partner. We set off quite quick and passed Joe and Matt, who started 3mins infront of us, at no. 4. ran with them for a while then on the way to no. 9 up a big hill we took a different route but i hit the wall at the top and had to stop for a wee sit down:) were pretty slow after that but managed to finished third, 7mins down on Joe+Matt, and 21mins down on James + coombs. weather that night was shite but our tent was fine and we stayed dry. | ||

| went for a steady run from the flat up to the top of blackford hill and then back.
felt ok just enjoyed going out for an easy run | ||

| went to intervals and did warm up with strides, then instead of intervals went for a cruise round the meadows and ran back to flat. | ||

| SHI's Relay
open area with some rock detail. ran first leg in a team with oleg and scotia. ran ok, came back in joint second with john and murray, james had got a 30sec lead. messed up number three and had to really push to catch up the pack. oleg ran really well sending scotia out in the lead and him and ewan finished joint first with oli about 15sec back. england first over all.we were second. the english women were strong this year and our girls couldn't match them.maybe next year eh!! | ||
