orienteering (Coaching) 2:16:00 [3]
Lakeside

Still pretty blocked up on friday but decided to go anyway, i'd been working 24/7 on uni stuff and was pretty sick of it.

was helping coach scotjos. they were short of control hangers so i hund half of the kites on high dam, hector did the rest. 40mins of nice running.

am: we went to haverthwaite and the juniors focussed on visualisation.
pm: then bigland, concentrated on attackpoints and i shadowed people again, they were running pretty well.

terrain was quality, could have easily got carried away:) ~1hr 20 of running

sprint round the grounds. cruised it and just flowed through all the controls, then lost concentration and lost about 1.20 near the end on two controls. 16.54, hector did 15.30 and peter hod ~16.11

great talk from JD at night

orienteering race 1:40:39 [4]12.7 km (7:56 / km) +550m 6:31 / km
Errochty national event
M21E

didnt feel great in the morning but once i got going i felt pretty good, though didn't have much energy for hills.

reaaly enjoyed it, cruised round spiking most things and flowing really well. lost about 2.30 on 5 and 6 but that was all.

died a liitle at the end on the flat but managed to hold of james:)

it was so worth it getting away from uni work when the area is as nice as it was.
