Saturday Feb 23

Running (steady) 37:00 [3]
was going to do some long intervals, but i felt pretty crap so just went for a steady run. wasn't really moving fast and my head was somewhere else.
C • what you need is a 4
Note
i know i often say that footballers are a bunch or diving poofs, but that tackle on eduardo was horrid, and maybe its a rougher game than i give them credit for.

Friday Feb 22

Running (steady run) 47:00 [3]
pretty steady pace, and picked it up for 10mins towards the end

Wednesday Feb 20

Gym 1:10:00 [3]
30min spin

40min circuits - plyometric stuff, lots of jumping etc

Tuesday Feb 19

Running intervals 20:00 [4]
meadows intervals

6x 800m, 90sec rest
2.13, 2.13, 2.14, 2.16, 2.16, 2.20

tough session, ran with the a group (murray, ben c, oleg, ales) pace was good but my legs were tired and by the end of rep 5 i was done, and the last one was just a struggle.
don't think the 800m measure is accurate more like 700 i reckon

the haar is back in edinburgh
C • Sunday 2
Running warm up/down 53:00 [2]
flat to meadows, jog and strides, warm down lap of meadows, back to flat.

john is always raving about his 'chocolate orange' rego and psp post training drink, so i thought i'll give it a go. problem was i only had lemon psp, but i chucked it in anyway. don't do it. it was rough as and i couldn't finiah the pint(not a problem i usually have:) )
C • ever heard of terry's chocolate lemon? 3

Monday Feb 18

Running (easy) 39:00 [2]
legs still feeling sore, so went for an easy run up to blackford hill, and then did some running drills to loosen the legs, then run back.

when the weather is this good i'm actually addicted to the view of edinburgh from blackford hill.its amazing.
