orienteering race 13:56 [4]2.9 km (4:48 / km)
British Elite Sprint - Heat 1
Warwick Uni Campus

Lost a bit of time coming out of the woods near the start and after that the course was easy. just dead running. seemed to put just the right amount of effort in as i qualified 4th, makiing it through by 5 seconds:)
orienteering race 14:33 [5]3.1 km (4:42 / km)
British Elite Sprint - Final
Warwick uni Campus - part II

Started off well, orienteered pretty smooth with no mistakes. After spectator i started to feel pretty tired and was starting to be abit scrappy, this showed going to the 2nd last when i turned down a wrong path and had to turn round, (even though the bushes infront of me were actually crossable-i'll read the evnt details next time!) this lost me 10s and 4 places.

Scotia, matt and Oli were the top three then it was abit spread out till a big group Rob baker -14.27, John.30, me.33,hector.35, dan.35. good close racing.

A really good event, the starts worked well so that there was a big crowd to support the A finals, and a good event center in the hall. only dissapointment was SYO's dominance.....
Running warm up/down 40:00 [2]
warming up and jogging during the day
