Lovely day in Edinburgh so i went for a nice steady run. I had planned to go to the gym because my legs were abit tired but it was about the second nice day of the year today so i couldn't waste it indoors:)

out over blackford, loop through hermitage, onto braids road to the far end of braids hills, over braids hills, back down to cameron toll.

would have liked to get out of edinburgh for abit of o practice but got a uni hand in for monday, so i just don't have time. ahh well my summer hols start on the 8th May so i can't complain.

Intervals in Hermitage woods.

I went down to Hermitage woods for a bit of a change from the meadows. it's a really nice place to do them actually, i used a loop for them one half of it reasonably flat path along the bottom of the valley and on the way back down i went along a small path on the slope, which was abit rougher with some little climbs and direction changes.

The three long reps were tough and the i started decreasing the lenght and recovery, concentrating on really increasing my pace for each rep until the end.

felt quite tired today, and legs were pretty tight, so i just went for a nice steady run in the sunshine. over blackford hill then through some random streets.
it's actually starting to feel abit like spring:)

Another beautiful bit of forest.
I ran first leg for EUOC Legends me-hector-scotia
The start was pretty crazy with alot of men's classes starting together, i managed to get to the front and was in a leading pack early on. i then lost about 30s at two controls so Matt and Ian got away and i was back in a big chasing pack, i think i dropped pace abit aswell.
was clean through the green and when i came out of it i had caught up with matt again. i got away from him abit but then he caught me after i missed later on. last few were simple and it finished Matt, David Abrams, Me all within a couple of seconds.

Scotia brought us home in 3rd. Interlopers won and SYO were second.
