orienteering race 20:00 [5]
(injured)
Swedish Test races
Middle

Really tough area, really complex.
Warming up my leg was feeling a bit crap - aching down outside of shin and pain along top of foot. Orienteered pretty shit to start and leg was getting worse so i wasn't concentrating so i stopped.
orienteering warm up/down 30:00 [2]
warm up and jog/walk back after i stopped racing

Friday May 16

orienteering race 14:20 [5] 3 km (4:47 / km)
Swedish JWOC test race
Sprint

A really fast course, technically easy, but with quite a few good route choice decisions. I made some poor route choices but otherwise ran ok.
Winning time 12.50

Leg also was abit sore, same ache as at Touch on Sunday and it was pretty sore sfterwards.

Run out to event and back to Stefans

(rest day)

Sunday May 11

orienteering race 1:13:00 [4] 9.8 km (7:27 / km)
SOL
Touch

Really good tough area, especially the wooded part of it that we passed through at the beginning and end of M21L. Nice course too, with a course that made you feel like the 2nd half was all down hill and flying.
Orienteered pretty well, though lost concentration in the open abit because my leg was bothering me and when the navigation was easier i couldn't keep my mind of the ache. some stretching, rest and self massage will sort it out.
Running warm up/down 15:00 [1]
Note
Time to rest up at Home before John 'the Rock' Rocke, Oleg 'Chepls' Chepelin and me head over to Sweden to run their JWOC test races then Hungary for Euromeeting.
