MTBO race (3hr Dark and White) 3:05:24 [4] 63.4 km (2:55 / km) +600m 2:48 / km

Went out hard on the MTBO map to use it as training.
Probably took a daft decision to exit the map towards climpstone and lost some time picking my way through the streets.
Had a good ride but legs started to tire after an hour and I just had to keep them spinning. Silly mistake towards the end which compass picked up, losing perhaps 45 secs or so.
Very hapy with the ride 2nd on M21 behind Liam. 3rd overall Killian clearing up.
Extra nav really showed the MTBO boys class :-)

Sweetpot on turbo,
4 x 10 mins z4 on the bigger gear at 97rpm
starting last effort very tired legs but really gave it some on the last 2 mins and got a new max HR 196. Might have gone higher but I backed off with 20 secs to go as I thought my Heart might exit the front of my chest. So much for 220 - 37 !!

Circuits (Chasers Circuits) 1:10:00 [5]

Chasers circuits, working really hard, concentrating on legs, did lots of squats again in leiu of the high impact stations.
went out afterwards and did 6 x the rise hill session with stampy in the snow. Foot was fine.
