Red Middle Day Two

Slow to #1, a bobble on #4, fun section from #7 to #13, went up the creek to #15, should have climbed along the slope probably. Went to check wrong control on the way to #17, then confused at #20 a bit.

Got a stick in my eye right after #16 but not too bad.

Mostly okay, still Sydney beat me again by three minutes.

4.4km and 150m climb. QR

Note

a bit weird start procedure -- you could spend some time with the map before you hit the start box, basically you turn the map and run 50m to the start box and the start punch is there. Probably not a minute but slowly walking studying your way to #1 and then punching start. Well, I turned the map over and slowly ran before punching looking at it, not that it was too complex anyway.

Red Middle Day One

A mistake on #8, saw a rootstock but passed it getting confused by the clearing, probably more than a minute.

Also went to check on the fence after #15, almost a minute there.

The course was 3.9K and 200m climb, that's what the map says.

Thorny but the weather is absolutely gorgeous.
