Event: ROC - Webster Park Night-O
Soccer (7v7 pickup) 1:45:00 [3]
Outdoor today since our indoor venue is being used - 45F-50F & sunny
Orienteering race 1:49:19 [4] 8.1 km (13:30 / km) +200m 12:01 / km
Night-O at Webster Park. found 1- 11 pretty easily, then Fenix flashlight died. Small backup headlamp is good really only for reading the map and worthless for trail running. Stupid me for not carrying extra batteries, I guess.
Managed to find #12 with just moonlight, but was clear that there was no way I'd be doing the last 4, so just headed back, which was too bad because it was almost a perfect night, 55F, clear, and a full moon.
Needless to say a better Fenix Headlamp has been ordered.
