Cycling 1:20:00 [2] 32.5 km (2:28 / km)
shoes: Univega Gran Turismo (fixed)

To Pittsford, along canal trail, to Meridian Center for our soccer scrimmage, and back.

Soccer 2:00:00 [4]

Scrimmage against the PUSC O48 team.

If we play like this against Canandaigua next friday, we will get creamed. Sloppy play. We rely way too much on long balls to our one striker. Once the other teams figure that out, we got nothing.

Hiking 1:00:00 [2]

RR Mills to Arrowhead, through Powder Mills Park, back on Woolston

Cycling 1:40:00 [4] 49.5 km (2:01 / km)
weight:202lbs shoes: Galli

Mi Square - Smith - Mendon Ctr - Bulls Sawmill to Chamberlain, then out Taylor to Cheese Factory & S on Quaker Meeting House, then out to West Bloomfield, E on Baker, back up Elton to Ionia & back on 64 to 251 to Mi Square.

Boy the new wheels feel quick, even with some tired legs from last night. Stiff S breeze, hard to complain since it brought us temperatures in the mid 70's.

Mountain Biking 2:15:00 [2] 42.5 km (3:11 / km)
shoes: Panasonic

Started in Fairport & took canal towpath out past Macedon and into Palmyra, then back through Fairport to Bushnell's Basin and home. Kept going on the path into Wayne County way past the point where prudence would have indicated I turn around and head for home, right about where the canal trail winds through a mobile home park near Wayneport Rd, for example. As a result, didn't get home til well after midnight, but to keep things simple, I'll log it all as the 23rd.

45F, no wind, great night.

Hiking 1:40:00 [2]

Map-hiking the Fern Valley & West Esker trail areas at Mendon Ponds.

As R likes to point out - There will be bushwhacking involved

Cycling (Stationary) 40:00 [3]
shoes: Galli

Rollers, 2km easy intervals with the new wheelset.

Picked up the new hoops Monday and have not had a chance to get them out on the pavement yet. Specs are: Dura ace 7700 rear hub 36H laced to Open Pro CD rims, 7600 front hub 32H, with a new DA 7700 12-27 cassette. Had Mendon Cyclesmith build them, so they should be completely bulletproof with a reasonable climbing sprocket.

Hiking 1:40:00 [2]

Hiking around Dryer Park Trails while R was mountain biking. Clouds and rain have not materialized - yet

Mountain Biking 2:20:00 [2] 45.0 km (3:07 / km)
shoes: Cannondale F700

RR Mills to Auburn Trail through Fishers to Phillips, pick up Lehigh Valley Trail W through Mendon to Roch. Junction & back. This is typically a ride I would do on the Panasonic, the Cannondale is a bit slower (wider tires) but much more stable in the muddy sections of the trail.

45F, misty, rain showers kicked in at RJ. Mileage is estimated based on previous rides.

Hiking 1:10:00 [1]

Arrowhead, Park, Musket, back on trails

Cycling long 4:15:00 [4] 112.0 km (2:17 / km)
shoes: Trek 2300

RBC Club ride from Honeoye Falls through Geneseo down to Groveland and back - Map #114. I rode to the start point in HF and left from there, which added another 35km to the total distance.

Right after the start the lead group split off and set a quick pace throughout. I stayed with them for the first 20k or so, then settled into a more comfortable pace with Gary and Michelle, about 20 seconds back at each stop. The drafting most certainly helped with the stiff NE breeze. The ride home was much slower than the pace with the pack.
