Running 1:20 [4] 5.5 mi (15 / mi)
A great hill training session with Susan plus dog in Wilverly enclosure round the usual track. Warm up run going clockwise round, and then going round again, but doing each hill twice as fast as possible, taking it in turns to do the hills, and resting at the bottom while the other person goes up. Good stretching session in the middle for about 10-12 minutes which really helped my shin splint like pain. So now realise that the pain was caused by lack of stretching which I will now do much more of. Also stretched while Susan was doing the hills. Went of down the beach for a fire with 20s in our running stuff with dog. Excellent evening, after going up to see Hugh for his birthday in Bristol.
