Elitserien long mass-start. Stupid organisers had destroyed this competition also in three ways. First that we could run in the area the day before, we run in more than half of the terrain for the competition and some of the controls were very close between the days. Second the course was very similar (maybe 50% of controls) as the junior courses the day before so you didn't get any suprise when you picked up the map in the start. And last the biggest mistakes I think were that the only forking on the course were two short butterflies which doesn't do any good in a masstart with 70people.. The race went good for me and I followed my plan and tried to stay in the top 5-10 during the race. Made one big misstake in the first butterfly and had to chase after it but caught up to the lead (except to guys that managed to get away :-( ) and stayed there but mine group had some problem on the second butterfly also. Went out as maybe 20-25 from the last butterfly and run like and idiot and were in the front of the big group again with 4 controls to go. Did some small misstakes on the three last controls but finished as number 5 in total. (3rd in the big group which placed between 3 and 28).. Too bad that they destroy these kind of nice races with no forking so it is only to run in a big group.

Elitserien sprint race at Astrid Lindgren's world in Vimmerby. Could have been a superb race with that the venue, but the stupid organisers had forgot to draw the map. One of the worse sprint maps I ever run on, passage through a wall was drawn as a house, 1/3 of the fences were on the map, half of the passable fences that actually were on the map weren't so passable, all the white on the map was not runnable, it was green and a big swamp, etc.. The elitserie-status was taken away. A catastrophe competition. By the way, my race was quite crappy, a lot of the misstakes due to bad map.

10k race @ Stockholm stadium. Were planning together with some other guys to keep a good pace to be able to run sub 31. Felt quite good in the beginning but after 2km my legs started feeling heavy. stepped off after 5k since I had to work to hard for the pace, save my legs for friday instead. Missing the high-pace endurance, and some mental toughness to run on track right now.

Sprint training in Borlänge to get my good sprint flow from the spring to the elitserie sprint on Friday. Three shorter loops with some jog in between. First and last in a tricky forest area, the middle one in a fast urban area.
