| Mark Matyazic's house in Irvine-Santiago Cyn-Modjeska Climb--Glen Ranch climb x2, back to Mark's-dropped off mark at 2hrs30, then rode over Newport Coast climb, through newport, through backbay, and back to Mark's. Lots of climbing today. Felt good. Kept the RPE easy, HR crept in last hr. |

| Newport Aquatic Center-Backbay-Corona del Mar-Newport Coast climb all the way to the cul de sac (10:50, 9:05) held hr of 150 on all climbs, slow cadence! Felt good.
Plan was to paddle after, but instead joined mark at Bikram Yoga at 2:30...paddle tomorrow.

I still have a problem standing on a straight leg and wrapping the opposing leg. Also deep knee bends still make me nervous after the knee surgery and meniscus scares from years ago.
