Cross Country (School grounds) 45:00 [3] 1.0 mi (45:01 / mi)
shoes: Blue Reeboks

We were going to have several practices in the same week of our first one, but, because of the bad weather we couldn't. Anyway, our secong practice was the test for the mile times throughout the year. this was our first REAL run and this time I worked on settinga good pace and a good strategy. As it turns out, I was pretty much the only one who thought about that becase when we started, EVERYONE shot out like bullets.
They were clueless. I stayed back and set a pace. It was a fairly quick pace, though it works out well for me. I worked my way around the school, passing many as I go. Soon I came to the finish, speed around the corner and through the line and got my time, 8:22. It wasn't my best time, but it made me in the top 7! If you are in the top 7, you get to run more at the meets, that felt good. I felt satisfied with my self ready for anything!

Cross Country (School grounds) 45:00 [2]
shoes: White Reeboks

This was my first day of cross country at school!!! I was wondering what it could be like. When we got there, we just went over the basic rules
(bla bla bla bla bla)went over the information (bla bla bla bla bla)
then it was time to run. Unfortunetly, they couldn't find my physical on file.So I had to wonder down to the nurses office to cheak if they really DID have. and, (ofcourse) they actually did! Fortunetly, I only missed the warm-up and the stretching. So we just went straight on to running. Just to start off the year we did a lap around the WHOLE school campus! It turned to be .75 of a mile. I wasn't prepared I never stratched of warmed up and I had to join in late. So I didn't turn out as well as I thought. anyways, I did finsh with a tad bit of walking. but it turned out to be alright. this gave me a pretty good idea of what the rest of the year will be like, we'll have to see!!

Swim 1:00:00 [3]

Its a day-off from school, its also the last day to go to the pool. So we decided to check it out. I played around with some friends a bit. then I took a trip to lap lanes and swam a bit. I practiced freestyle and breatstroke. I went along pretty well. In the end, I think I swam up to about 150 meters. It felt good to be excercising and I felt I really improved.
