Decided to give it a try. Wasn't sure what pace to run since I got out of shape in 2.5 weeks since the back injury. Decided to stick with 155 HR and see how things go. Lack of training in the past 2.5 weeks showed up - HR rate was pretty high relative to the pace. Back started hurting again after 10 miles and I just wanted to finish without making things worse. Back pain increased by the time I got home. Took celebrex and will take few days off training. Splits are posted.

Yet another check-up run on the Shore Rd loop. My back is not too bad and it doesn't get worse after running. I'll give a try to the NYC marathon...

The usual Shore Rd loop. Very stiff, but back is not too bad. Need another run to decide whether to run the NYC marathon.
