Just hung around wetware being annoying. Found a short trail uphill that linked to a gradual downhill will give me a circuit I can use that hopefully will not overstress my knees again. First test will be Monday morning.

Tried running just flat today. And not too fast. Worked well. No pain. There were some twinges later in the day as I bent over to pick things up. just little.
