Tuesday Sep 9

windsurfing 40:00 [2]
pretty windy
became dangerous with a hardcore offshore breeze

Monday Sep 8

Note
pretty disappointed with selections today
but this gives me incentive to train hard over the winter and beat those who got selected in front of me.
Missed out on a couple of weekends and a bit of free kit. Last year many people achieved great results without this extra help, hopefully I can as well.

Means I get to do the omm which I was worried was going to clash with a start weekend if I got selected!

Just got my tour report
says to improve physically i should join a running club.
i have been a member of one for the last 6 years, train twice a week with them and compete for them in cross country and athletic events. Seems a strange comment?
C • Start 6

Sunday Sep 7

Event: SOL 4

orienteering 50:25 [4] 7.1 km (7:06 / km)
shoes: Inov8 mudclaw 2
a much better run today, though no way perfect
threw away 4 mins in total, i recon
need to iron out stupid mistakes
i make one every run
its always the same
see an easy leg- switch off!
must concentrate more!!

Saturday Sep 6

Event: 11-Person Relay

orienteering race 24:00 [5] 3.2 km (7:30 / km)
shoes: Inov8 mudclaw 2
i havn't had a run quite that bad for a long time
couldn't find the first control ( and asked someone where I was)
such an idoit
went on to make even more mistakes

spongey nailed me but missed the last control so was disqualified!

Thursday Sep 4

running race 4:43 [4] 1.5 km (3:09 / km) vdot: 58.2
shoes: Nike air trail pegasus+
1500m race at Ayr Seaforth
well I say race but there was 3 folk one dropped off after 100m and the other was a bit behind me the whole way around. I haven't run one of these for a very long time but I am sure that I could get a well better time, as I was on my own, checking my watch for pacing, and I wasn't that tired at the finish: I didn't collapse over the line.
Anyway, it is something that I will definetly work on and in the spring I could easily get 4.30 or below.
running 1:00:00 [1]
doing other events at club champs
100m, Javelin, Long Jump and High Jump ( which I got a pb in! ) I won't say what height as it is still really bad!
C • what height was it? I hope ... 3

Tuesday Sep 2

running 1:10:00 [3] 14 km (5:00 / km)
shoes: Nike air trail pegasus+
club champs tonight
but not the events I wanted to do
these included shotput, javelin, high jump and 100m
so I went for a run with a like minded friend
started pouring with rain but it was still good

(had to guess length as sanoodi site is not working)

it turned out that the event was badly organised and the under 20s only got to do one event anyway: 400m
