STAG night O in a glasgow park
great fun event (took us ages to find due to crappy directions)
but really enjoyed my run which was full of mistakes
dads headtorch ran out of battrery but there were lots of streetlights

good training for when i beat the Tom Ryan character at the weekend

good fun blast on a beautiful day in the scottish borders
unlucky for those doing the OMM by the way
had a good run but uunderestimated the area and course it turned out to be much harder than i thought so made daft mistakes

mountain biking after sosol at glentress
great riding however dads bike badly broken, the cassete kept slipping on the ratchet thingy, so we cycled all the way back down from buzzards nest to ask for help
a guy from the bike tryed to fix it but failed so we just started again for a very rewarding and tiring ride

sloppy first run on the chasing sprint at Polmaise woods
great technical area, not used to this after previously training on simple open areas
on the second race the pack caught me up and it climaxed in 50% of the entire squad mispunching

very easy aparty from one or two good route choice legs
petewr caught me and spurred me to run faster but i lost him at the end as i was still tired mostly from immense arran holiday

sat training on dumyat
easy orienteering but exercises more geared towards speed and quick thinking
relocation, visualisation and a relay simulation which was fun
could have won one of the sections if i hadn't missed a control as i was on a different gaffle to just about everyone else

mega walk/run the Glen Rosa horseshoe 5 peaks the last goatfell
at first weather was awful but after the second peak it cleared and the driving wind stopped, we were hiding from the weather behind a stone
an amazing day but very tired afterwards so start weekend could be hard work
