mistake at 4 got caught up, managed to stay neck and neck with spongy but made other mistakes so a better run but not great at all

loops on amazing terrain rogastrerert, really flat and runnable
then a peg relay, got ther first peg ran off the map with jim and spongy spent 15 mins trying to relocate!

day 2
putting on soaking kit was nasty
an easier day route choice wise and running wise
however we made a pigs ear of one of the route choices and think we lost about 10mins
my dad had a sore leg by the end so it was a bit slower than yesterday also
still, great fun, spectacular area (Helvellyn)
great event

with dad
had some great route choices on this first day, 4th
but not in chasing start as tim martin and his dad annhiliated the whole field about 50mins ahead of second place

weather started off good, but got really wet and windy
great fun
and you could buy drinks and milk at the overnight camp!
you could buy eggs from the nearby farm aswell but my dad said that it was not in the spirit of the event!!?
