Sunday Dec 2

Running 1:20:00 [4] 14.0 mi (5:42 / mi)
went up queen jubiliee drive after working at belair (going very fast whilst having a rather good looking runner on my heels). Pushed very strong up hills and met Zara incidentally at top

Friday Nov 30

orienteering race 52:00 [5] 6.7 km (7:46 / km)
seemed to take a lot longer than i expected even though running fast. It was very hot though and i had already been wondering round trying to find the start for at least an hour after coming from the station...honestly an orienteer getting lost before they even reached the start??!!

Thursday Nov 29

cycle 25:00 [3] 9 km (2:47 / km)
cycle to belair: 20:46
home: 14:14
Running 48:10 [4] 8.5 km (5:40 / km)
Everyone else piked on Thursday night so it was just simon and i. Went along goldmine track, up incredably steep stpes to railway line, up some more and then down through echo tunnel back to the golf course. Hot day and a little tired after being at the beach all day but felt really good selcond half and the down hills...up hill was a different matter!

Wednesday Nov 28

Running 1:10:00 [2] 12.8 km (5:28 / km)
felt quite slow...need to do some intervals
up turners ave>rankleys>Hawthorndene drive> random side streets>upper sturt>sheok>coromandel parade>home

Monday Nov 26

Swimming recovery 54:40 [3] 2.2 km (24:51 / km)
cycle (TRAVELLING) 1:45:00 [2]
Wow! What a day! began cycling down Shepherd's Hill Road, then along South Road to get police check for Swimming teaching job, then used the same backstreets as i did on my long run the other week and ended (somehow) on Goodwood Road. Followed this until i got to the pool where i planned to go swimming early. Didn't quite go to plan as there was a swimming carnival on so road into the city to drop off written stuff for another job (working at Rebel Sports) and back to the pool for a swim. This was fantastic to cool off from the 30degree day!
Finally went to drop in with Suzanne (she is in hibernation due to thesis) and ended up missing the last frequent train so sat at station for an hour until the next one. Then tried to balance my bike (without stand) on the train so it didn't take out elderly passengers nearby. Home eventually ...at 9:00pm!
Sleep in tomorrow and no more riding...backside sore!

nb time approximate and very easy riding (not very fast!!!!!)
