Note

Need to be patient with the calf. All that works is rest, I know that, but I want to 'do something'. The rest of my body is raring to go.

I suppose some more core is in order. Bleh.

Did a trampoline workout with Juliet. It was fun, but I shouldn't have, 'cause it exacerbated my calf strain. Darnit!! Pleasantly achy upper body, though.

Planned on 8 mi, but calf strain said 'no'. Walked/jogged a bit, should have just walked, as this set me back a bit more instead of actually helping.

Treadmill: an increasing-pace 5k (9:30, 8:30, 7:00: 25:12) followed by an easy 0.9mi felt okay ... need to get on the track and stairs though. Pressed for time!

Cold and rainy. Pretty unpleasant. Didn't want to go. Good job! :)

I like the extension on the East River path ... all the way to South Street and beyond! Gets this loop > 10mi, which is just right.
