Whew, the humidity really ratcheted up since yesterday, which was stunningly cool, dry, and breezy for June. Today was more like summer in the Mid-Atlantic. Good training!
Another full-kit run. Definitely takes a toll, especially with upper-body form. Good training for that, too!
A bit mopey getting out and for the first 1.5 laps, then remembered how much fun I was actually having, and got into the groove a bit, and 'allowed' myself to go faster for the last lap. Even more good training, and fun, to boot!
Also modified the loop (by accident!), adding a bit up a trail I'd never been on before. It's really nice! Keeping that. I think the new lap is ~3.3 miles. Need to wheel it. In fact, need to wheel sections and write the sections down, so I can do these modifications without a complete re-wheel.

Added some distance and climb to the Smedley Loop for a new 3 mi route. Need to wheel it, but it's pretty close to 3.3 for the first and 3 for the second.
Full gear dress rehearsal for Mason-Dixon Longest Day 100k in 3 weeks. Felt really good at this pace. Shoes, hydration, etc.
