Wheeled the Smedley Yellow Loop: 4.751mi. Forgot to do a climb check at the lap point ... likely ~750' or so. Happy New Year's Eve, APers!

50°F & tiny drizzle made this run feel really nice. Coach Steve noted that it's possible to connect the two Smedley out-and-backs via Woodland Ave, so I had to give it a go. Pretty nice loop, ~4.5mi. Needs to be wheeled, as it's pretty wiggly, so likely a good bit longer than the watch can record. Fun that it's a loop! Basically following the yellow blazes 'all the way around'.

Utterly perfect December weather, 60°F, no wind, sunny.

A new spur to go up in Smedley (thanks Ryan Cross!), an extension of the yellow blazes trail. Challenging and mostly pretty nice—parellels the trolley. About 1.4mi to the bridge and back to the trashcan lap point in Smedley. No need to go across the bridge and up the little street like I did.

Some pleasant laps in the afternoon.

Running (1 B2B Lap) 52:05 intensity: (46 @1) + (13:27 @2) + (24:02 @3) + (8:51 @4) + (4:59 @5) 5.13 mi (10:10 / mi) +484ft 9:20 / mi

Lumbered my way through the woods for a lap. There are new, more aggressive deer culling signs up on the west side of the Crum. December through March it's closed?!? That's extremely inconvenient.
