Swimming 1:00:00 [3]
Yay! I got to go swimming!! Visited Sandra at UNH and went to the pool. I don't know how many laps I did, but it felt soooo good to swim! I really would love to do some tri's now!

Wednesday Apr 28

Running 48:00 [3]
Decent run through Walker, on my mtn bike loop and then out to the Concord hospital and home.

Tuesday Apr 27

Hiking 20:00 [2]
I know this is lame, but it really is a good workout!! Just a short (really short) workout!

Tuesday Apr 20

Running 26:00 [4]
Not quite sure what I was thinking, but I suppose that I just ran a threshold run for a solid 26 minutes, no warmup or cooldown, just out the door and went for it. Interesting. Felt pretty good actually!

Saturday Apr 17

Road biking 1:26:31 [3]
ahr:145 max:179
A nice easy ride with Sandra around Durham Point road to Newmarket and back through Lee. Racing and sprinting for town lines...makes me want to race again.
Orienteering 1:00:00 [3]
Sandra and I set controls for our little O-meet at Mendums Pond. We were really out there for longer, but with all the discussion about control placement, we were prolly only training for about an hour.

Friday Apr 16

Note
Just a note. I have recently been put outside to learn a lot about field surveying. I am not sure whether this will help or hinder my training since as of yet the weather has been incredibly crappy and I would not have trained anyway. We'll see in this upcoming "80 deg." week!!!
Running 46:00 [3]
ahr:163 max:178
Run with Sandra in College woods and West Foss Farm loop. Felt great to run in the woods and with someone else, too! It's boring training by yourself.

Thursday Apr 15

Road biking 1:00:00 [3]
ahr:149 max:178
An easy-ish road ride outside of concord. Powering up the hills and working on spinning, i guess. didn't really put much thought into it, just felt good to be out and moving.

Wednesday Apr 14

Running 1:00:00 [3]
A sweet run through Walker forest, I haven't been up there since the fall and it was a little wet and flooded and required lots of bushwacking to stay off the streams flowing down the trails. felt so much better than running on the road!

Saturday Apr 10

Mtn Biking 4:00:00 [2]
An easy mtn ride with my mom up near meredith/new hampton. Found some old settler days roads and summer home roads up there along with cellar holes and some sweet old summer houses. Ground is still a little too muddy for much mtn riding however. too many sink holes.

Thursday Apr 8

Running (intervals) 1:12:00 [4]
ahr:156 max:184
I started out for a nice easy run and turned it into a track workout. how'd this happen?
20 min warmup to track
2-800's : 3.05, 3.10 ave172 max184
2-400's : 1.22, 1.27 ave173 max182
2-200's : 0.36, 0.38 ave167 max178
and four strideouts

Hamstrings were screaming at me. I don't quite remember how these times compare to my high school track days, but I felt like I was flying, but feel that these times were rather slow...hmm. Felt good to be back on a track though, surprisingly. But, it would have been nice to have a training partner to push against, ya know.
