| I got off work a little early specifically so I could go for a run, but then of course, got stuck in traffic and by the time I did get home, I was pretty dark. Mom managed to convince me, over the phone, to go out anyway, so I did. It was a quick run, fast, hilly....nice to get out there again. |

| Day 2. Much more clean, much faster. No major errors, well, I guess it took me the first two controls to get into it, but after that it was pretty smooth. An excellent weekend, all in all. |

| WCOC meet at Round Pond. Beautiful woods, great race. Had a 4 min error on #5 but otherwise okay, just really feel out of shape. |

| A great run in Walker behind the Hospital.. THese trails are awesome! Finally figuring out where they all go. The leaves on the trail were buggin' my eyes out, but the adrenaline rush was incredible, I just wanted to go faster, but my legs wouldn't really let me. The rush was probably also due to the knowledge that if I tripped, I most likely would have cracked my head open and no one knew where I was....Sweet. |

 | Hiking 3:00:00 [2] | |
| |
| Hike with Ross up Whaleback scouting decent runs to catch fresh pow this winter, then over to French's Ledges overlooking Meriden, NH. Got lost in the network of what might possibly be some real nice ski trails. Found some old lost ski area, too. Then sat in the hot tub for 4 hours straight--not a good idea, would not recommend for anyone in the future. |

| Just a nice hike around Ross' house with everyone, then a little go-carting, that's pretty exhilirating, I'd count it as training... ;) |

| Farsta race at GLOF. Over estimated how much better I was feeling, and ended up running myself into the ground. Lost lots of time on a control that I had messed up earlier (178) and ended up 5th or something. Still, a great weekend and wonderful event!! |

 | Hiking 1:30:00 [2] | |

| Didn't race today, felt like crap all morning, but then went for a little hike on teh ski mountian where the others were racing. Beautiful weather, leaves, crisp air, made me feel a lot better. |

| Classic Dist at Great Lakes Orienteering Festival, Milton, Ont. Very tired after driving for way too long and late the night before, getting up early and feeling kind of sick, headache and some side cramp that won't go away. weird. |
 | Orienteering 11:34 [5] | |
| |
| Sprint Invitational at GLOF. Tons of fun!! A sweet sweet race even though i didn't win! ;) Still tired though, same symptoms as earlier race, but worse. Felt like shit afterwards, too. Probaly wasn't a good idea to race. |

| Hudson Highlander.....the first that I've ever done! I didn't quite know how I was going to finish, but ended up doing pretty well, coming in 15th overall. Muscles felt good the whole way, it was just my joints and tendons that went. My knees and hip flexors died and I had trouble running by the fourth loop, but luckily Vlad came up and dragged me around the last bit, (running-just to get it over with sooner!) And my toe problem didn't hurt a bit - weird! |

 | Running (Hills) 30:00 [4] | |
| ahr:152 max:198 |
| Got a hill workout in before going to dinner at Mike's. 4.5 hills averaging only about 47 seconds.
.48, .47, .47, .47, .18 (this was a shorter hill)......I need to find some bigger hills, though these are pretty decent for flat land Concord. Even had time leftover for abs and 'some' stretching. |
