Skate Skiing 3:00:00 [3]
A wonderful winter wonderland ski at Bretton Woods after all the snow that fell on Saturday! It felt SOOOOO good to get back on skis!! We were with a group of friends from Boston and CT so the going was slow, but still a workout, since we haven't used these muscles in almost 2 years!! (I was able to get out once last winter on the lake, but that was it!!)
I'm not exactly sure how much time we were out there, but I'd say we did about 25km. (though i think we were on skis 4 hours...but about a third of that was standing around and talking.)
After this we piled into the cars, home to our house and had a delicious dinner and a new years bonfire!

Soccer 50:00 [4]
I was beat tonight, couldn't move fast at all, I think last nights ride took it out of me. Man, i'm out of shape.

So we lost 4-2 to a bunch of bastards. Seriously, they were. I was about to kick one of them in the face. I shouldn't take it too hard though, we were playing a man down, no subs either.

Spinning bike 1:15:00 [4]
ahr:152 max:174
Watched the Lyon vs. Monaco game...getting psyched for our game tomorrow night.

My legs were tired after this workout. (high cadence, even through tougher power intervals, standing and sitting.) ave cadence for 75 mins was 105. I'll try to keep track of this from now on. I read an article yesterday about how Lance pulls away from the peloton....its all about cadence.

Tuesday Dec 26

Spinning bike 1:00:00 [3]
ahr:146 max:172
barcalona vs. athletico 1-1 tie

It's so nice to ride with distractions! Riding in the gym or something just listenign to music just doesn't cut it. The time goes so much faster like this!!
