Orienteering 53:00 [3]
ahr:173 max:185 (injured) shoes: VJ Integrator 2007
technical course on Rogie. started steady, mainly because I felt knackered but got into it. John caught me up at no.2 I got away on the long leg over the hill then he caught me back up and we were together foa while until the gay of all gays.
one minute steaming through the flat woods, next minute bam on the floor, ankle in agony, cant get up. so spent a while rolling on the floor screaming, then started hobbling back. got to a deep marsh after couple of minutes (150m) so sat with my ankle soaking then carried on. went round paths and tracks all way back, but these were still rougher than I wanted.
was worried I'd seriously screwed it cos it wasn't swelling much and was really painful but kim advised me that it would be ok and I might be able to train on Sunday if I strap it. still, miss a killer session on Rosseille :(

Thursday Feb 28

Note
(sick) (rest day)
was gonna go down to Intervals and do the warm up/drills then come home. but decided only half resting isn't gonna get anyone better, so stayed home doing more procrastinating and work put-offing.

Running 13:40 [1]
ahr:137 max:171 shoes: Adidas Swoop II
was supposed to be helping SoN put out controls for her Eccy Woods courses. felt bad 'cos Littlebit's lecture had changed so she could no longer make it, meaning I was the only other person to help, but Sarah agreed that I should rest so pootled home.

home down clarkhouse road to junction with glossop and back.

sure my Mr never hit 171

Tuesday Feb 26

Note
(sick) (rest day)
hmmm. woke up feeling quite poo today. was planning on going to track this afternoon to whip round 3km but it seems I got a sore throat, thanks to everyone deciding to start coughing and spluttering in lectures again.
have been deliberating whether to go or not for 2hours now, but decided my legs aren't gonna move too fast and I'll just make myself worse, so might go for a pootle later, but no more than that.

Monday Feb 25

Running 43:00 [3]
ahr:151 max:168 shoes: Asics GT-2120
run to afternoo lectures
bail from lecture up to Goodwin
warm up/cool down at Circuits
run home with ba-ba
Circuits 40:00 [3]
ahr:134 max:170 shoes: Asics GT-2120
45/15s still didn't feel myself at circuits despite feeling good running again. just physically couldn't put the effort in for 45s on quite a few of them, especially towards the end. side lifts didn't happen. again. gay.
Note
went to watch the football this evening which turned out to be quite comical. after my course mate (city fan) telling me all day how eastlands is a fortress and only Arsenal can break it down, Everton battered city in a 2-0 win which should have been more despite being refused 3 blatent penalties, meaning Micah Richards should have been sent off. the ref was so bad, he gave a free kick to city when their centre-back hand-balled it in the box. however he gained a lttle respect - purely for humerous value - for sending off Petrov in the last 30seconds for swinging his leg after losing the ball and brushing Osman's heel with his toe. Even Phil Neville tried pursuading the ref it wasn't a foul! what an idiot!
oh well, one less team to challenge our 4th place in the League.
