hills in bingham
a long rep from bottom, jog back down to 1/3 up hill, back to top, then right down to bottom and start again. plan was do 4. but it was too hot and humid for my liking, ran them at consistent pace, just behind neill but when I got up over the steep wooded bank I was struggling to breathe with gay asthma so I sat out the last 2, only running two lots, but felt better that way.

Spring Cup - Greno
pretty tired from yesterday but wanted to get out because I haven't run on Greno before.
took it very easy. ran no compass again, which was an error when it came to the bingo controls as is meant I had even less idea which way across the empty block of forest I was running.
caught straightisgreat at number 9 then ran with him to 10 then got away a bit. messed up 6 (bingo); 11 (because I navigated to 12 for some reason) and 13 (bingo).
quite a nice area all in all. quite enjoyable.

Tuesday May 6

Note
saw nails this morning. he was running to work, I was walking to lectures, shame he didnt notice me, 2points wasted.
got a dry throat this morning, no idea why cos i've been having loads of sleep. but its such gorgeous weather I think I might have to go for a long run anyway.
why are exams always put in the middle of non-revision weather?! pissing annoying!
C • exams and nice weather 3
Running long (AWESOME) 2:01:00 [3] 12.5 mi (9:40 / mi) +290m 5:37 / km
ahr:149 max:167 shoes: Asics GT-2120
it is such a nice day I couldn't resist the peaks calling out to me, so packed my stuff. ipod, camera, water, food and spare top. not that i'd have needed it.
went down through endcliffe park, took the high path through bingham then up the valley to the ponds. up to Ringinglow, up to Burbage, had a 10minute play in terrain in the mines, accross the mines to Brown Edge Farm, up Rud Hill, down to Redmires, across the dam between the top two reserviours, then into wyming brooke before getting into lodge moor. then carried on along the top of this alpine valley coming back to the main road at the end of the Hallamshire golf club, by the bupa place. up and down through crosspool, down past whats left of ranmoor and home through broomhill. awesome views the whole way, really enjoyable

had a couple of photo stops, took most on the run and drank on the run to keep moving. loved it
