Thursday May 15

MTB (East side) 1:30:00 [3]
Tweets ride to keep up but... lost her from the start.
One last ride with the man. Did a loop of the sink track. Haven't done it this way since my first run with Ads, found the few drop offs etc. that took me by surprise first time to be a good laugh this time round.
Gonna miss the riding here.

Wednesday May 14

Walk (Mt Gillan) 2:00:00 [3]
A lovely walk of Mt Gillan with Tweets.
Good trekking, good conversation.

Monday May 12

Note
Taper time.

Sunday May 11

MTB (Golf Course / Eagle Court) 1:05:09 [4] 20.61 km (3:10 / km)
ahr:18
Had too much energy after the race so went for another pedal.
Did the Eagle court / golf course - with the last bit of single trail added on. More for nostalgia more than anything else... I'll be leaving next week :(
I love this track too nice and flowy, can get a good rhythm, and I've done it so much it's second nature. I'm gonna miss Alice.
Ave 19.2, but warm down slowed it down.
MTB race (Alice MTB #4) 1:20:01 [4] 21 km (3:49 / km)
Alice Springs MTB #4
B class, 3rd place.
25.43, 26.15, 26.27.
not a big turnout as Yulara run was on Saturday.

Bad race, chose bad lines, kept up with the boys(whom I beat on the Point to point, made a few mistakes and lost them. Didn't catch up to them again, I think they ended up a two minutes in front.
Couldn't get a rythm. ?it was just a shit track. Hill of pain -crap, strange connecting lines, masters track, down the good ascent. I was making stupid mistakes on normal corners and had to get off on stupid nothing obstacles.
A bit dissapointed but... so what! As long as it is out of my system.
Adam is a machine, he came 3rd too - in A class, after doing the A grade roadie time trial, not sleeping in the arvo, a night shift then the race. He was even drinking Red Bull, which is a big call for him (I think), He is a honey.
