A new week of training and a new strategy of being more sensible with things. This sort of mostly trail-based hill session allows me to maintain my running fitness without putting too much stress on my ankle and without needing to take an anti-inflammatory tablet.
The 'real' feel without the medicine is of course a little alarming relatively, especially with Sunday's magical experience fresh in the memory. By and large it was ok however.
LH-side working alrightish but a bit painful in the ankle and unfortunately the other foot as well as the new shoes with the longer spikes confirmed that I do in fact have a verruca :( I had suspected this over the last few months but it is so deep that one can't see the black unless one looks really close.
The positive was the speed compared to AHR. It was more chilled than usual because I was trying to be careful with the foot in order to stop it from getting inflamed. Regardless of this only 10 seconds slower than last week.
