Best feeling in the ankle yet whilst running, mostly in terrain too. Certainly not 'out of the woods' however as left leg still working significantly harder (more training ache in left quad than right Sun/Mon). But progress for sure. From about half-way around the course I felt 'unfit'.
Another good sign was that any ankle-related discomfort or lack of function was obviously not stopping concentration on map reading, lost a minute or so on 9 following another runner in the wrong direction out of 8 that I didn't correct quickly enough and then another minute or so in the old mining area of the map where compasses don't work all that well. Otherwise clean. Needless to say I am obviously over the worst of the peroneal tendonitis, back down to just the 2 injuries :S
Going to really try and make that the last occasion that I take naproxen before running, try to work hard at the rehab and mobility now and not jump straight into reflector courses, Saturday long-distance club trainings but gradually do more as and when is sensible.
