Practice game for the U19 team against the Napier City U19 team who are playing in the division above us for the tournament and it showed. They smoked us so bad. Something like 10-1. I got a full game at centre back which was good to get a feel for our team and how we play. Was happy with how i played.

Another game of touch for work's tournament. Us "booze-hounds" played the top Paky team, the "stingers" who were huge favorites and we just got beaten 2-1 which wasn't too bad for us considering they beat the other teams by over 10 points. I snuck in for our lone try but we play them again in the final next week so hopefully can turn it around. Got some free powerades too from the coke merchandiser in our team - chur!

Went to U19 after touch to do the second half of training. Been named in the squad to play against Napier City on saturday over at Park Island - should be a tough game

Easy run from home. St Leonards, Frimley, Fredrick St, through town, home. Not that exciting but a solid run. Should probably do a time trial of some sort at some stage to see where my fitness is really at because i honestly don't have a clue. The reason i haven't is because i'm still afraid that my calf will play up again which i REALLY don't want to happen, because i can still feel it's not 100%, not even near it actually. It seems like all the stretching i do just solves it temporarily and not fully.

U19 training. Did lots of running, passing, 1-touch stuff before going onto positions and structure in defense. Looks like i'll be playing centre back which is good

Red Kiwis Challenge at Osgiliath. I ran M21A but my only competition was Magnus and Hamish (or so i thought) but Todd was there too and beat me by 22s - dammit! Still made lots of mistakes but everyone did because about 60% of the course was in green which had crap visibility and made it hard to see contour shapes and keep on bearings.
