Thought I'd be safe and bike rather than run due to my glute today. So I biked up the peak and back. Felt pretty good for most of it. Had one 1min break and a few slow bits for recovery on the way up but could keep a solid pace the rest of the way and pushed it hard the last few hundred metres to the top. Cruised down and then kept a fast pace all the way home, really pushing it back through Hastings (7.5mins from Norton Rd to home, 4.5km). Tired at the end but happy with how my glute felt - not really a problem at all
