Thought I'd be safe and bike rather than run due to my glute today. So I biked up the peak and back. Felt pretty good for most of it. Had one 1min break and a few slow bits for recovery on the way up but could keep a solid pace the rest of the way and pushed it hard the last few hundred metres to the top. Cruised down and then kept a fast pace all the way home, really pushing it back through Hastings (7.5mins from Norton Rd to home, 4.5km). Tired at the end but happy with how my glute felt - not really a problem at all

Left glute better than yesterday but still not up for a jog. Went for an evening walk up the peak when it was pretty much dark. Just went from the gates carpark to the redwoods, up the goat track then back to the carpark. My glute felt ok which was good, definitely still there but comfortable

Woke up this morning with my left glute really sore. I can only think it's from yesterdays run but it was never a problem at all yesterday, not sore during the run and not sore afterwards either. Anyway, just icing it at the moment and having the day off it. Hopefully it doesn't last
