| Managed to get my favourite space behind the pillar! found the speed ball track rather tiering tonight. Getting worse at press ups.Sassy always gives us extra and my arms just give out! |

| Seems we always do lunges although I know we didn't last week. they are a real bummer! Rest isn't too bad now although I find the chest track long without any break in the middle. |

| First time orienteering since the JK!! Felt good most of the time, but a couple of hiccups. Number 3, a clearing was just a flag in wide open forest. Had been passed the area and ignoredit. Relocated off a nearby pond with a flag on it. David had this on the blue course. Bracken was only just appearing so good to run in the forest. Spiked most of the controls, keeping ahead of a couple of spanish guys who eventually overtook me on the run in. |

| Amazingly class wasn't full. Sassy was pissed off as there was a waiting list so now we will get blacklisted if we don't cancel. Seems fair. Hot and hard with no air con. Must admit I got very tired towards the end. Glad we finished a couple of minutes early which was nice. |

| Very few people there tonight which didn't mean any less hard work. sam did a couple of old tracks which she thought were easier. Certainly disagreed over the press-up track! Very quiet as no Cath or Paula. Tried my best but nobody else joined in. |

| Hard work doing this straight after Attack! Sarah had a bad back so Lou did it. She is really hard core and was encouraging us to increase weights. Managed to do it for the triceps track. Hard, but do able. |

| I don't often get to combat on a sunday due to orienteering. Wow!! There were 40 people there!! I had to go at the back of the first studio, as they'd had to open the doors. spent much of my time avoiding the pillars when moving backwards!! |

| Great having Attack back on a Saturday morning. It's been off the timetable for nearly 3 months as they coouldn't get an Instructor. There were 16 people there so well worth it. found it heavy going. But I have done 3 hour class a day for the last 2 days, so this was my 8th class since Thursday morning. |

| First time i've been to a morning class. It was taken by Katie who isn't quite so in your face as Sassy. Enjoyed it, but only Paula, Cath and myself doing any vocals!! |

| Several new men tonight who found it surprisingly difficult. As Sassy didn't give us time to get a bar or weights in the lunges track did it without and it was quite so bad. Bad, but not awful like it usually is! |

| Went to a mid week morning class for the first time. Not only was it in the other studio, but Sam did it alongside us so was getting in a right mess with her left and right instructions!! Only 4 there, but I knew Chris, who is even older than me, and the young girl from Goldolphin School. A good workout. You can't hide with only 4 people there!! |

| Nice to go to Pump in the morning. Toby Coleman's Mum was there again, but she is very friendly. Must stop her calling me Mrs Nixon though!Yvonne does tend to load the wights on. Managed to put on an extra yellow to do squats, so felt good about that. It wasn't too bad. I must try to put on an extra yellow on the chest track next time. |

| Tried this session done by Sassy after the disaster on Saturday. It was so much better, gradually building up the routines at a slow pace until we did the whole thing through. Really enjoyed it. Certainly knew you'd been exercising!! Will go again on Thursday. |

| What a disaster!! Different instructor yet again, who's never worked at the Rapids before. She did a completely different programme to the one I had on thursday. It was soo fast, far too quick for me to follow. Didn't enjoy it at all and nearly left in the middle. will give it one more try with Melanie on Thursday and try a Sassy session before i decide whether to give up. Frances was doing the same. We're obviously just too old!! |

| A new class, which was obviously designed with younger people in mind!! There were hip hop and street music tracks. Very much dance routine type programme. We had fun as the instructor was very liad back and gave lots of encouragement. Perhaps it would get easier once I knew the routines. Will give it a couple more goes. |

| As this was a day time class it was taken by Eddie. He is awesome! A small powerhouse, who really lifted heavy weights - 20kg for triceps and the chest tracks! Several of the new tracks are challenging, especially the lunge one. It should get easier.....hopefully. |

| First time at the new release. Some nice tracks this time, but the shoulder track has so many press ups. It's evil. Class spoilt by a punter who couldn't cope with any of the moves, was knocking into people and then kicked Jo!! Poor Sassy doesn't know how to discourage her. She really is a liability. Thought all the moves like jabs, upper cuts etc were at her own head, not an imaginary person facing her!! Joy!! |

| Went to the morning class today as I'm on hoilday, taken by Yvonne. First try at the new routine. A couple of tricky tracks, notably ths biceps. However some were easier - when doing the back track I had to add extra weight in the middle as my bar was too light!! |

| First session with the new release. I think it will take a while to get used to. Enjoyed some tracks, but others, like the running track, were rather weird!! Music definitely not to my taste. Hopefully it will grow on me. |

| A reasonable start, but messed up the 3rd control in the wooded section big time. found Ian's control and then turned and followed the wrong welephant track in the snow. Faffed around for a couple of minutes losing over 2 and a half in total!! Another miss later on, but wasn't too disappointed as I made the C Final, as last qualifier!! |

| Was virtually first off as the slowest in the Heat. Made an error at 3 and lost contact with the map. Took a while to relocate. Jenny Collyer caught me up which was an incentive to run hard. Spiked most of the rest apart from a veg boundary late on. Pleased with my speed as under 10m/km which is very rare for me. Could have saved about a minute, but was 3rd W55. Sarah ran in the B Final and Sue Stevens thrashed me!! Only 2 W60's in front and I did beat Sheila Carey and Liz Godfree.
Really enjoy Campus racing. Everything comes so quickly you really have to be on top of your game. |

| Rather heavy rain showers before the start. Went very steadily. No problems really apart from number 9. Was too far west when I hit the area of rhododendrons and turned the wrong way. hit a re-entrant on the W21 , heade for a path above and worked out where I was. Was able to relocate, but severely lost time. Apart from falling flat on my face in front of the Controller as I was getting onto the path down to the last control and the finish a rather uneventful run. Course was well planned. Done by a woman (of course!) |

| Evening Sprint O around Southampton Sports Centre. It's years since we've been here. Loads of people using the site. Had to avoid cricketers on two legs, plus footballers on another. A quick burn up. Managed to keep going almost the whole way round apart from a couple of slopes. Was feeling very tired after humping furniture and books around for two days whilst we had new carpets fitted throughout the whole house. Roll on the Middle/Sprint weekend. It'll seem like a rest!! |
