Friday May 23

Body Attack 1:00:00 [5]
Hard work after how I've been feeling this week, but off on holiday for the week so made the effort. Not sure it'll have had any effect though!! Do enjoy Sam's classes though.

Thursday May 22

Body Combat 1:00:00 [4]
A complete class of old tracks most of which i'd only done in the dim and distant past. Couple of killers at the end. Liked the warm down at the end.

Wednesday May 21

Body Pump class 45:00 [3]
Pump Express tonight as I've got a cold and didn't feel too good.

Monday May 19

Body Pump class 1:00:00 [3]
Not too many there tonight. finally seem to have got to grips with the lunge track. ei it wasn't too painful. Now Katie says she'll do a different one next time!!

Sunday May 18

Body Pump class 1:00:00 [4]
Real struggle today as I was feeling very tired. Reaction after the JOK Chasing sprint and Pompey winning the F.A. Cup

Saturday May 17

Orienteering race (JOK Sprint Prologue) 32:04 [5]
Pleased with my run, as although I was slow hit everything spot on. It was a slog up the hill from 5 to 6 but at least it was runnable under foot.Finished just in the top class of the W40 + so was very satisfied.
Orienteering (Chase) 33:47 [5]
What a disaster. Probably not coping with being at the front of a pack of 5 runners!! Went to the wrong first control as I didn't look carefully enough at which path the Start kite was on. Veered off very badly from 3 to 4 and ended up almost at 5 before I was able to relocate. Then made a dreadful error going from 5 to 9 instead of 6. Was influenced by another runner from my club who was ahead of me and was going to 9. Controls 6 to 9 were in a reverse circle. Dropped 10 places!! Only positive was I somehow managed to avoid being last, but disappointing after my run in the Prologue.

Friday May 16

Body Attack warm up/down 1:00:00 [5]
Good workout and at least the CD player didn't fuse the whole gym again. Full workout, but why do only Cath and I give vocal encouragement?

Thursday May 15

Body Combat 1:00:00 [4]
Busy session with loads there. Worked hard, but very tired

Wednesday May 14

Body Attack 45:00 [5]
Sam decided to use tracks from lots of old releases. Knew most of them. Then we had a power cut so had to stop as no music and no light!!

Tuesday May 13

Body Jam 1:00:00 [3]
Good now I know the routines. Several new people there. It is getting boring with doing the exact routines class after class.
Body Combat 1:00:00 [4]
Huge class, without any breaks. We did some old favourite tracks. I do miss the plyometric track though. Over 40 there again tonight. Work very hard. Much better with my wrist strapped so it didn't catch on my top.

Monday May 12

Body Combat 1:00:00 [4]
It was good to do a coiple of really old tracks. Challenege to see if you could remember the moves! Bothered by the huge sore I have on my left wrist. amazing how a rubbing watch strap can cause so mush tissue damage.
Body Pump class 1:00:00 [3]
A relaxing class as usual. Was able to put the weights up again after feeling exhausted last week. no trouble with wrist. I thimk i'll cover it up for combat tomorrow to stop it rubbing against my top.

Sunday May 11

Orienteering race 1:14:22 [4]
A very hot day, but at least we got a drinks point! Beginning of the course was a bit noddy, straight along a oath from the start. Then out across brambly grot and up and over loads of hills. Once we crossed the road the rest of the course was in awful, highly brashed grot. Missed the last control completely and eventually relocated once I'd hit the track and bounced back off a tiny marsh. not a good day at the Office. Think i'll stay doing classes at the gym instead!

Saturday May 10

Body Pump class 1:00:00 [3]
Full to the brim today. Katie did lots of teaching points as there were new people. Must still remember to lace up my shoes really tight just before we do lunges. That track is still no easier.

Friday May 9

Body Attack 1:00:00 [5]
Good session tonight. We did the new plyometric track unfortunately.

Thursday May 8

Body Jam 1:00:00 [3]
Not many there again tonight.20 booked on but only 13 turned up. Sassy is getting very fed up about it as people are being turned away. A good workout. I managed most of the steps, but get very dizzy on some of the quick turns. Not sure how to cope with thias problem?
Body Combat 1:00:00 [4]
A good session. Knee felt better andno twinges from my right foot which had been bothering me earlier today. Did some old tracks, and no pressups. hooray!! Had loads of Abs exercises instead.

Wednesday May 7

Body Attack 1:00:00 [5]
Gave it lots of welly tonight as not doing Pump.

Tuesday May 6

Body Combat warm up/down 1:00:00 [4]
Absolutely heaving tonight, nearly 50 there!! Sassy moved all the front people to the back so that newcomers could see her and stil had to do most of the class ona step. found it very disconcerting not being behind the pillar!! Good worhout though. Managed an extra 4 press ups!

Monday May 5

Body Pump class 1:00:00 [3]
As it was Bank Holiday had to go to the morning class. Different instructor, Nicky, who was pushy but in a quiet way. Left knee really sore but stuggled through Squats and Lunges by reducing the weights. Will give Wednesday a miss and see how I feel for Friday after Attack.

Sunday May 4

Body Combat 1:00:00 [4]
Nice to go to combat on a Sunday as the only orienteering event is a SOFA event at Creech Woods. That would be 4 times round the wood on paths for a 3knms course!! Very busy, about 40 again, but was able to get my favourite space, behind the wall area between toe two mirrors. Finding getting my guard back up after each move easier. Must admit i prefer Katies classes as she's more laid back than Sassy and actually lets you get a drink!!

Saturday May 3

Body Pump class 1:00:00 [4]
Good workout today. Felt better for not having done Pump last night. Perhaps that's the way forward!! Managed to up the weights on Squats again, so flet good about that. Katie got a fit of the giggles during the warm up and wasn't able to give any verbal instructions. Perhaps it was because her sister was doing it and standing right in front of her?
Body Attack 1:00:00 [5]
New instructor today. oung and very enthusiatic! Did the whole programme without any stops although was happy for us to get a drink at any time, unlike Sassy who shouts at you! Did an extra lunge track that we've never had before. When we commneted on it at the end she said it was in the programme and should be done. Either Sam has been missing it out or we've done something else instead.

Friday May 2

Body Attack 1:00:00 [5]
Traffic problems so several peole arrived late. A good workout. Sam is going to start using old releases soon. Hope she changes the press up track!
Body Pump class 1:00:00 [4]
Felt a bit of soreness in my left knee so took it gently on Squats and the back track. As usual the lunges was HARD!!

Thursday May 1

Body Combat 1:00:00 [4]
Good workout tonight. Sassy did some of the old routines for a change which was nice. For a change we didn't have to do extra press ups. Hooray!
Body Jam 1:00:00 [3]
Lots of new youngsters, holly's friends, tonight. did the same warm up and first track. must admit its getting a little boring after 4 weeks. Luckily Sassy then did a different second routine. I like the music and moves sfor the cool down.
