Orienteering 1:06:03 [2]

EUOC Big Weekend Urban race. Due to horrendous icy conditions the results were voided. Able to go out and do my course without the pressure of racing. Some parts were sheet black ice which was lethal. One control I watched 2 others slide all way down a ramp. Luckily there was a hand rail on the other side! Unfortunately I did not see controls 16 & 17. The overprint was difficult to see. No white edges to munbers, although this was the lines between controls. Same thing occured at Sundays event. Glad that everyone supported the decision to void the results.

Orienteering race 1:11:00 [3]

EUOC Big Weekend. Indoor race plus FWTN. Indoor event was something else! So tricky, not helped by a missing control, incorrect control codes and the ice outside on Level 7! Getting from the last control to the Finish was really testing. Very icy outside so just jogged round, keeping my feet was more important!

Lanhydrock Short Green course. Mainly parkland with one big hill spur thrown in. Bit muddy in places.
