Event: Western Australian Long Distance Orienteering Champs

Orienteering race 1:23:39 [3] ***** 9.7 km (8:37 / km)
shoes: Silva ProLite
Well this was a could've and should've race, but I managed to lose almost 10 minutes or so in the final few controls to hand the race over on a silver platter and Eoin beat me by over 10 minutes.
Lost concentration in the last part mainly because I relaxed thinking the hard work was all done. A little bit tired heading into this weekend, but I could have kept going for just a few minutes more.

Saturday Sep 13

Event: Western Australian Middle Distance Orienteering Champs

Orienteering race 39:44 [3] **** 5.7 km (6:58 / km)
shoes: Silva ProLite
Very scrappy run for Middle Distance Champs. Hardly a clean leg among the 20 we did. Major time losses at 1, 10 and 12.

Wednesday Sep 10

Run 32:00 [3] 5.4 km (5:56 / km)
shoes: Kayano 13 - Blue
One last soggy run before heading home. Only my feet were soggy this time and it wasn't too bad as the shoes were retired immediately afterwards. Unfortunately they're now stinking out the hotel room as as much as I would have liked to leave them to RIP in Marlay Park I had nothing to wear home & it was too cold to go barefoot.

Tuesday Sep 9

Run 30:00 [3] 5.5 km (5:27 / km)
shoes: Kayano 13 - Blue
And not a second longer. All comments about wondering how Eoin could emigrate now deleted. I deserve a medal for going out in that!

PS Marlay Park is quite a nice sheltered place for a run :)
