Very bad day out. nothing working and quite grumpy. Left hip non-funcional, not liking this prospect at all.

The track up to UTS is very overgrown at the bottom (head high bracken) but the top section is getting nicely cleared out. Should think about some map updates soon as the building works look to be nearing completion.

ok effort, tight hamstrings tonight and left particularly bad. Chose the scenic route and enjoyed it, not the most efficient. rained early and traffic was heavy for a few road crossings, lucky to make it back just under 48 min as had to wait at road just before the finish.

I was not looking forward to today but survived it OK in the end. 25 min down on winner - about the best I could have hoped for and that was with 2 poor route choices which cost me probably 4 min each. Also got a flat just before second last. Poor preparation as when I got the cartridge out, worked out I had no nozzle. So had to put that back and resort to pump. Fortunately that worked without a tube, although stony section to last control was hard work and could not really go for it on downhill run to finish! Single tracks not as much fun as yesterday and steep hills super annoying. Fun riding around the old coal mine though.
