Bought new shoes yesterday, but...
Last night my other ankle had a melt down and I couldn't even use the clutch without pain this morning. It was so bad I asked Eoin to drive.
Then by the time I was free to get out (planned a MTB ride) there was a thunderstorm.

Took the opportunity for a quick test run while dinner was in oven. All good - shoes great, ankle ok running, no cjange, it's still annoying though.

Squeezed orienteering into the time Aoife was at gym. Good timing and great to be out on Mt Taylor. Happy to get away with reasonable run after insanely stressful times with work and home this week. Was expecting a disaster out on course. Good focus.

Also, ankle was completely fine - still hurts if I poke it or wear running shoes but o shoes ok...
