Return journey. Cold and windy this afternoon. I got overtaken by a runner going up to the saddle. And then she was at the Aranda overpass before me. And she was just a casual runner, about my age. So, slow riding from me.

Started out cold but it was nice once running and then very exciting for a few moments when we got some snow flakes falling on us! Pretty sure that's a first for me while running.

Nice long (ish)run with Nat. Good to get out in the fresh air early after busy party-day yesterday. Running ok but hip a bit tight. Very impressed we did the entire run without a single walk.

Lots of nice patches to run through on this circuit.

Red Hill. A shocker. Ran orange 2 as under time pressure. Aoife passed me on the way to 1 where I was a bit wayward. I kept up with her and just I. Front going up the hill to 2 but I made a massive mistake and lost a good 4 min there! I never saw her again and was expecting a good thrashing, but she had a few bad controls too. Ran 4.3 kms on 3.4 km course!

We still got to netball on time.

Wednesday lunchtime at Mt Taylor. A fun sprint style course, some easy legs but that did nit stop me from going wayward. Took off to 1 the wrong direction and ran straight past 12... freezing out there today, wore a thermal and gloves and did not regret either!
