Run with the Wind - 5km this year. Aoife had come out and waited in the car while I did 10km last year and desperately wanted to do it herself. We had stayed in Canberra this weekend so she could do an indoor rowing event, And I was missing out on MTBO! When we found out the schedule for rowing on Friday we decided that we could make the 5km and get back to town in time afterwards. Glad we did as the rowing was a bit of a let down with 2:13 to row 500m as part of a relay team. They were in an U19 competition too so not much real racing either...

Anyway, the run was good - through the turbines at Woodlawn which was really cranking today. Much windier than last year so tougher conditions. Aoife was in front of me the whole way and just out of sight by the finish.

First run since Oceania. Sore ankle (twisted on last day) and life interfering since that time...
Went ok, taking it easy. Left knee seemed a bit sore but lasted longer than required.
Amazing, warm morning.
